Aaron & The Sea and newly formed Minneapolis dance company, Dance Nineten, have been working ferociously on their neoteric dance-music collaboration, “Creature Creature.” For Valentine’s Day 2010, they would like to invite audiences to witness pieces of the makings of their feathered circus bazaar. Thus, “Our Heart’s Are Gold,” is a compilation of sketches of what’s to come. For Aaron & The Sea this will be an opportunity to test new material, as well as experience their music stripped down and re-created as a trio [Peter Leggett, Alex Brown, and Aaron Rice]. For Dance Nineten, this will be a chance to take in the never before seen movement as performed by the choreographers themselves [Renee Starr, Kat Lung, Evy Muench, and Duncan Schultz] before setting it on their entire company of dancers.

The party starts early and runs late, with DJ sets by I am The Break He is The Beat, It’s a Celebration, and Plot Twist. Bring your Valentine and your dancing shoes to 1419 on February 12, and be ready dance your pounding hearts into the ground, or until they pump gold.
